CrockPot Chicken Pesto

Once again I found the basic idea on Pinterest and changed it a little. And I loved this. It was simple to throw together too. The Crock-Pot is an amazing invention. I'd kiss whoever invented it but that would be really weird now wouldn't it?

1 1/2 pounds chicken, I used chicken tenderloin
salt. pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of chicken
1 8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened
1 pack pesto sauce mix
3/4 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Place chicken in Crock-Pot. Liberally season.

Mix together next four ingredients.

Pour over chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Shred chicken with two forks.

Stir in peas and layer parmesan cheese on top.

Cook on high for 30 minutes.

Serve over noodles! Perhaps with bread and a salad?
