About

Hi, I'm Lisa! I'm a wife, mama, and creative and I help other women know Christ and embrace their work so that they can live with purpose and passion.

It's so easy to get tripped up over what we expect life to look like or what another woman's life looks like instead of investing in what life really is. Regardless of where you are in life, you have a purpose. You have influence and you have a work that God wants you to do. Isn't it time to embrace that? Together we can pursue lives of eternal meaning as Christian women with families and creative interests. Will it be easy? Of course not, but I'll be sharing what I have learned on my journey in order to provide some shortcuts for you.

This blog focuses on those three things: Jesus, family, and creative pursuits. You'll find posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays that cover topics of marriage, motherhood, faith, creativity, as well as other posts that marry the topics of faith and womanhood. On Wednesdays there will be a post about the newest episode of the Uniquely Woman podcast that I host with Phylicia Masonheimer.

I married my high school sweetheart while I was still in college and we live in small-town Kentucky. He works at a local university, is a deacon at our church, and coaches a homeschool varsity basketball team. When our first son was born with a rare metabolic disorder I moved my work home and have stayed here as we've had two more boys. I homeschool our oldest, do writing and web work for a local crisis pregnancy center, and serve in music ministry at our church.
